Another England International Linked With NUFC

Another England International Linked With NUFC

Just like Christmas, Im sick of links. Whether it's the smelly stuff for the body (Lynx) or football related. It's all the same, bloomin sick of the word.

Another day and Newcastle United are, you've guessed it, linked with another player.

This time it's another England youth international in Sheyi Ojo who plays for Liverpool.

Nicknamed 'Sheyi' as it's easier to pronounce his proper name in Oluwaseyi Babajide Ojo, the 20 year old is surplus to requirements this season at Anfield and Jurgen Klopp has allowed him to become available for loan.

The Sun had an exclusive last night in which we supposedly bid £10m for him to stop him joining Middlesboro. The Chronicle said that Newcastle dismissed this, this morning, although said a loan wasn't out of the question.

Ojo is a winger who had a few top European clubs after him before he opted for Liverpool nearly 6 years ago but with him being loaned out a couple of times already, he may not develop as the top player he potentially could have been.

This link is supposedly to add to an expected move for Norwich's Jacob Murphy as well although again, that is still in the 'linked' category with nothing concrete on any progress yet.

With just over six weeks to go in this transfer window and within four weeks of the season opener against Spurs, it's about time we moved on from being linked with over 150 players and the next column of the 'stalling' vocabulary book is used.
