'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Luque Plea: 'Come Get Me'

Albert Luque made a brief appearance in the Portsmouth match, but again looked like a fish out of water.

Does the Spanish forward REALLY have the heart for the Premiership? Apparantly not, and following his big-money switch from Deportivo La Coruna at the start of last season, he has asked a Spanish club to end his nightmare.

The list of clubs interested are like a who's who of Spanish football - Barcelona, Real Madrid, Real Mallorca, Valencia, etc.

Luque: 'I will play for another month and there must be a change then. If there is no change then maybe an option that is better for Newcastle and better for me, is to go.

'It's been very difficult not playing regularly. I am happy at Newcastle but I have to play.

'I know of the interest from Barcelona, and I would be interested.'

This is a joke, he is a high profile striker who should be busting his balls to play - Wouldnt get that with an enlgish striker - who would u like to sign ??
Boony
well give him a decent run or sell him, because he looked unfit and out of practice against celta vigo, didnt c him against pompey.
