'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ignore Loic Remy Talk

The local papers ran the usual story today in that Newcastle United still have an interest in signing Loic Remy.

A club that Remy has blanked on numerous occasions and did the dirty on us originally back in January 2013.

It's no secret that The Newcastle Chronicle has been banned from St James' Park for admittedly nothing but report on the truth of fan feeling and it's also no secret that they see their role as side by side with NUFC to get the juicy stories first or exclusive player quotes.

It's how they tick. Paper sales.

It wont be lost on Mike Ashley that the paper is single handedly giving hope to thousands of fans that the club will actually make a net spend in the final hours of the transfer window and when the eventual realisation comes that we were never interested, the paper will be there to cushion the flak.

Although im expecting some sort of Hatem Ben Arfa redemption to placate the masses.

Regardless, Remy is 27 and would cost around 10 - 15 million. Why would we waste that when Pardew has already stated that Papiss Cisse's impending return is like a new signing?

People need to wake up.
