Toon Kids Play Out Draw

Toon Kids Play Out Draw

The Newcastle United U21 side again lined up with an experienced element with the likes of Sammy Ameobi, Shane Ferguson and Facundo Ferreyra featuring.

Kellett gave Bolton the lead halfway through the first half with an unstoppable drive before Ferreyra overhead kicked us level, then Andy Hughes put the ball into his own Bolton net to give us the lead.

Kellett scored again to make the score 2-2 before we decided to repay the own goal favour via Lubomir Satka which saw Bolton take the lead.

The scoring in the first half wasn't done there as Sammy Ameobi half volleyed the equaliser just on half time, which set the second half up nicely as it promised to continue the goal glut but despite both ours and Bolton's best efforts, it somehow played out a goalless half.

The final score: Bolton u21 3 - NUFC u21 3

Newcastle u21 lined up as follows: Alnwick, Barlaser, Ferguson, Bigirimana, Williams, Satka, Roberts, Olley, Ferreyra, Armstrong, Ameobi

Subs used: Gillesphey came on for Roberts 70
Gillead came on for Olley 70

Subs not used: Pearson, Smith, Heardman
