Remy Just Needs To Be Dismissed For Good

A common theme has occurred this Summer in that Loic Remy's name has constantly been linked with incoming strikers to the banks of the Tyne.

Remember this is a bloke that shook hands on a permanent deal, we paid his travel costs to fly to Newcastle before he got sidetracked with promises of extra cash and a game of Fifa or two with the QPR owner Tony Fernandes. So signed for them instead.

On being loaned in and treat like any other striker has on Tyneside and by that I mean adulation from the fans, some will even have bought shirts with his name on, he then decides to mess us about by dismissing an offer for his services by sitting and waiting for a last minute club to bid, although as yet, he has none.

In the meanwhile, our bid lies on his table.

It isn't fair to wait around for him to decide to change his mind as he's proven that he doesn't value the black and white shirt that the likes of Milburn, McDonald and Shearer plus countless many others would have died for.

He needs consigned to the mercenary heap.
