Remy Back OnThe Agenda?

Remy Back OnThe Agenda?

LOIC Remy`s expected move to Liverpool collapsed earlier after news broke that they pulled out due to concerns over the player`s medical.

It's no secret that the Frenchman has a heart defect similar to various other players and you'd think that he is being closely monitored on that score, so it can't be that, although a speculated knee injury which wont heal properly on the lines of previous NUFC employee, Demba Ba, has been mentioned.

Talk that a current Liverpool player in Fabio Borini had a change of heart about leaving has also been high up on the rumour scale, which put a spanner in the works and made Liverpool pull the plug. Whatever the reason, you'll be sure that Mike Ashley will be smelling a loophole for a cheap deal.

Remy scored 14 goals on loan here last season and hit his best strike rate at any club he's been at previously.

His presence on the pitch made us look a good couple of yards quicker as players would feed off his energy but you'd wonder would Ashley part with a fair chunk of what we have available to spend.

We know we've not spent a penny yet this calender year because outgoings have trumped the incoming to the tune of £3 million or so but with a fair share of the fanbase spouting untruths that the bloke has splashed the cash, the club may see that the propaganda circus can get them through another year.

Regardless of greed, we need a proper striker or two.
