An Italian news provider reported that Newcastle United could be set to provide Argentine striker, Facundo 'Chucky` Ferreyra a route out of Ukraine and before you know it, we get the usual rumour mongers providing stories of deals and what not.
Basically we know the score, not one of our officials speak to anyone in the press but because of a previous link with him and the fact that Ferreyra was amongst a group of Shakhtar Donetsk players who have refused to return to Ukraine following the countries bother, it's an easy story to write.
We were supposedly keen before his move to Ukraine and had been amongst a number of sides who watched the young striker impress in Vélez`s 2012 Torneo Inicial winning side.
The fact that he's only 23, may be cheap and have the potential for a profitable sell on will make him attractive to Mike Ashley, so rule nothing out, also the fact that captain, Fabricio Coloccini is a fellow countryman could be a factor in keeping him happy.
