Forthcoming Friendly Cup Chosen For TV

An unfamiliar TV channel will air the inaugural Schalke 04 Cup that Newcastle United are playing in next weekend on the 2nd and 3rd of August.

The Schalke 04 Cup is a two-day friendly tournament hosted by German Bundesliga club Schalke and held at their Veltins-Arena, the club's home ground.

In this first running of the tournament, 4 teams will take part in it, hosts Schalke, Us, West Ham and Malaga of La Liga.

The matches on both days will kick-off at 2:30pm, with the second match kicking off at 4:45pm respectively with Schalke making a deal that they will play second on both days.

UK satelitte channel Quest have bought the rights to show the tournament and from an unknown name, they could propel themselves forward to air more in the future but for now, these games are all live:

Sat 02.08.2014 Malaga v Newcastle 2:30pm
Sat 02.08.2014 Schalke 04 v West Ham 4:45pm

Sun 03.08.2014 Malaga v West Ham 2:30pm
Sun 03.08.2014 Schalke 04 v Newcastle 4:45pm
