Mirror Re-Hash Old Story
If you get your football news from The Mirror, you should give 'yer heed a shake'.
Because there is probably as much fiction as fact. Today they re-hash the old story that Arsenal are set to offer £5m for Charles N'Zogbia, something others covered six months ago in the summer transfer window ... and Wenger laughed off.
Why it has surfaced again, who knows. Obviously someone has a column to fill and transfer speculation is exactly what it says on the packet ... speculation.
You don't need quotes or even a sniff of truth. Stick a pin in the Rothman's (Sky TV these days) Year Book, link that player with another club. Hey presto.
If Charles N'Zogbia joins Arsenal in January I will show my backside in Fenwick's window.
