Ben Arfa May Yet Have A Role To Play

Talk today was of Mike Ashley not allowing any of our unwanted players to leave on the cheap this summer transfer window, which comes as no shock if true as the bloke is money mad.

Allegedly, the unwanted list includes the likes of Hatem Ben Arfa.

Apparently Alan Pardew will have to build some bridges with the brilliant Frenchman to try to get the player back onside if any team doesn't meet an asking price that suits Ashley's virtual price tag.

For some reason, the likes Of Ben Arfa, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and Sylvain Marveaux have been offered to French clubs in order to sell but we're crying out for players of their potential and it's yet more evidence of Pardew being out of his depth and unable to coach properly.

As unlikely as it seems at present, Hatem Ben Arfa may yet fulfill his early potential at St James'
