Emre Trip Not What Roeder Needed

Emre Trip Not What Roeder Needed

Turkish international Emre has received a surprise call up for Turkey's friendly with Italy on November 15th, because he is suspended from playing.

So obviously Glenn Roeder could do with him at home rather than Italy, but that is not going to happen.

Also World Cup 2010 hosts South Africa have called up young midfielder Matty Pattison. This is his first call-up for the first team, and he hopes to be involved in the friendly against Egypt, also on November 15th.

Luckily it won't mean a long haul, as the match will be in London next month, scheduled for Brentford's Griffin Park.
