Mbiwa's Written Apology

Contrary to the national outcry, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa didn't commit any serious crime and what involved him wasn't even the biggest controversy in our game against Man City anyway but what the heck eh.

Anyway, the Central African (Who qualifies to play for France) has written to Frenchman, Samir Nasri and apologised for the 'heat of the moment' tackle which left Nasri in a heap and facing two months out.

This follows the attempts by Mbiwa to speak to his national team mate via phone and through the French media which were ignored by the huffy so and so.

Toon boss Alan Pardew confirmed the letter by saying:

"Mapou`s sent a letter to Samir Nasri.

"There was no malicious intent. He is his fellow player in the national side."

Bearing in mind the disgraceful offside decision we suffered which angered everyone with Newcastle links on the day, you can understand why Mbiwa may have 'lost it' for a few secondsbut at least he has the nerve to follow through his apologetic actions by writing.

The injury was circumstantial, yes Yanga fowled Nasri, but the TV slow motion showed an unfortunate combination of his leg being straight and his full weight being placed on that foot at the point of impact.
