Mackem Sell Oot

Tickets for the Tyne-Wear derby, which takes place a fortnight on Saturday, sold out within hours of going on sale to Members and season ticket holders.

The process was beseiged with the usual problems of crashed websites and phone call hang ups.

Some even tried for hours by phone and were successful whilst others were not. Wonder if the phone companies have a snidey deal going with Ashley?

Anyway, the usual tricks were tried again by people buying tickets to sell on, with some even appearing on the ticket marketplace that the club endorses. As yet, there's no mention of any feedback on tellings off or whatever action can be sought for this.

The game against the unwashed is on Saturday, 1st February with a 12.45pm kick-off. Bars are supposed to be open from 10, although some places open earlier with the chance to buy drink with your breakfast.
