The Opposition Builds

The Opposition Builds

It's been well documented as to the amount of cock ups that Mike Ashley has made whilst being owner of our cherished lot.

Cock ups to us, may not necessarily be that way inclined to the billionaire sports wear manufacturer, who's sole ambition here seems to be in the news as often as possible without actually speaking or making any statement whatsoever.

The past week's events involving the wheeling out of that comedy fossil in Joke in ere, just another example of Ashley's instability of being the man to lead us to a successful period.

Following on from this, the amount of former players, fans and employees speaking out has increased daily with the main agenda being one of shock and anger.

Derek Cassidy was a Non Executive director during the times of John Hall and co, and he spoke out today to describe his sadness of the whole scenario, which is unique to his Seventy year term of being a Newcastle United fan.

Cassidy said "You`ve got a gem of a football club, a jewel in the garbage of recent history, I call it,"

"But there`s been a terrible trampling on the community and its values, and the most frustrating thing is trying to predict what`s on Mike Ashley`s mind, because he obviously doesn`t talk to the supporters.

Aye, the list of disgruntled grows and still we are treat like sh.... on a shoe.
