'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Who's Looking Forward To Saturday?

Newcastle defender Peter Ramage may have impressed the England manager a few weeks ago, but he has put in some miserable performances of late. However, the youngster hopes to keep his place against against Arsenal on Saturday and has insists the Magpies can shock the mighty Gunners.

Ramage: 'It has been tough, but we are all grown men, we are all taking it on the chin and we tried to rectify that on Saturday.

'We went a little way to doing that. Obviously it would have been better if we had won - we didn't, but we got a point so it's a point gained and now we have got to try to re-group and build on it for the weekend. Obviously, we have got another massive game next week against Arsenal.

'We are disappointed we didn't win on Saturday, but we have got to take some heart from the performance. It was much-improved from the other night.

'We have now got to take this on board. If that penalty had gone in, everybody would have been going home like they were going home the other night and last weekend.

'But that's over with and we have now got to look forward to Arsenal.'
