'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Facts Not Rumours

It's always silly season at Newcastle United and this time is no different.

Too many French players not interested in our current predicament.

Fabricio Coloccini feigning an injury to get some leave time back home in Argentina.

Hatem Ben Arfa talking to Spurs over a move.

Yohan Cabaye talking to PSG/Man Utd/A.N.Other over a move.

Tim Krul going to Milan.

Papiss Cisse joining Dortmund.

James Perch having a contract offer rescinded. (ok, this one could be true)

Aye, there's many more as well but the point im making can be made with that short list.

Basically, things go on behind the scenes but also things get planted by individuals who know what they can get away with, especially when the fanbase is so great and so addicted to any little snippet of info that we'll grab it in an instant and turn it into a fact.

We're in a pickle, the players are getting a dogs amount of abuse and rightly so. The manager also.

The facts of the matter is that we're in big trouble and we all need to put rumours behind us and let the facts come to us as a team.

When everyone here is singing off the same hymnsheet then I can't think of a better place to be.

With a united front, all rumours will generally disappear although why let facts get in the way of a good story?

Only kidding.

Howay the Toon, stick people's stories where the sun don't shine.
