Harper's Tiptoe Through The Tulips
It has gone down as the Liverpool 'wonder goal' on Merseyside ... but on Tyneside Alonso's 60-yd goal had the Toon Army looking for the TV off button.
Steve Harper was probably stood eating a pie when the ball was first launched, but his moment of madness when his legs were skipping away like a cartoon character, but his body didn't move, has been caught on camera. And it will be shown for years!
Harper: 'I was really enjoying the game. I felt great, and I don't understand it. I was playing quite high up to counteract Craig Bellamy's pace, but I was no further out than the penalty spot. I was just backpedalling to try and catch it, and as I tried to change direction I went over.
'I'm going to see that for the rest of my life now - it's just devastating. It was just one fatal slip at the wrong time. If you're an outfield player and you slip, there's somebody there to cover it for you.
'It was a horrible thing to happen, but it happened.'
