There's Only One Ameobi.
A slight tongue in cheek song I agree but one that we were unable to sing anymore after 2010 when Sammy joined brother Shola to give us two Ameobi's at NUFC.
Today, we can sing the song again after Sammy joined Middlesboro for the rest of the season on loan.
The striker leaves to ply his trade lower down the ladder, which will do the lad the world of good in a very competitive league as his chances have become limited at his home town club.
He temporarily leaves having played nineteen games here and scoring one solitary goal in a league cup game at Scunthorpe. A well taken one as it happens.
He's expected to make his debut for 'Boro' against league leaders, Cardiff this weekend with the club very much still in the promotion hunt.
