Every transfer window arrives and apart from every fan's own wish list, we all have our list of players that we want to keep to get us further up the table or even compete for honours (eventually).
So, today it was quite refreshing to actually hear some proper news regarding any players not leaving from Derek Llambias and an explanation as to why our rich owner was spotted at the training ground.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Llambias was quoted as saying:
'Mike has come to say hello to the new recruits, welcome them to the club and see the rest of the team and the manager, so it is good that he has flown in today.
'We are absolutely done. It has been a very busy window for us and we are very delighted that we have those targets.
'Last time we had a lot of pressure on the last two days, too much pressure, that is not going to happen. Mike has come today to reassure everybody our crown jewels are all in place. And they are absolutely staying.'
Good news as it means we can give the tedious Sky Sports News a miss.
