Milner Gets On With The Job

It isn't something the club could kick under the carpet. But the ex-Leeds Utd winger still has a job to do (until January at least), and will be handed a UEFA Cup mission in Tallinn on Thursday after Nolberto Solano was struck down by injury.

The 20-year-old, whose move to Aston Villa was blocked by Freddy Shepherd just hours before the transfer deadline, has returned to the squad.

Glenn Roeder: 'Nobby pulled up in training and we are hoping it is not too serious. He will have a scan while we are away and, until we get the result, we do not really know whether he will be with us when we go to West Ham on Sunday.

'James will be involved in Tallinn and will play a significant part, and I am sure he will give us something down the right.'

You really think he'll give to the cause? He's waiting to get out and if he plays well you'll just mess him about. Disgraceful!!
