'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Unfinished Business

The fact that our club's future is in the hands of Derek Llambias is one angry talking point but to run it like a day at the casino is another.

I, like a lot of other Newcastle fans, was pleasantly surprised by the recent French imports but one major issue has been ignored.

We've lost arguably one of the best strikers in the world at present and haven't replaced him. By that, im talking about Demba Ba.

In his one and a bit seasons here, he notched an impressive 29 goals and as we all know, goals win games. Yesterday's win shouldn't really mask the fact that we need a striker.

Yoan Gouffran was busy and impressive with his movement yesterday but isn't the out and out striker that will fill the gap.

Hopefully we use this last day and a bit of the transfer window to get a replacement over the line as an injury to Papiss Cisse would normally be unthinkable but with this club, we may as well expect it. It happens time and time again, so to gamble on it is downright criminal.

Sort it out NUFC! The TV deal next season is obscene but missing out on it through a gamble is too obscene for words.
