'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Touch and Go

If I was a betting man, id say it was 50/50 whether our game against Reading actually goes ahead tomorrow.

I have no doubt that the pitch will be playable, no doubt that the stadium will be cleared and no doubt that all 50,000 of us fans will brave many miles through arctic conditions to sit on a plastic seat for two hours.

but, i just doubt that the surrounding areas will be cleared sufficiently for the powers that be to declare the area a safe zone due to the continuing snowy conditions. Those powers that be being the local constabulary.

Anyway, if the game does make it, we're on the back of a catastrophic run, which has seen us recoup just eight points out of the last thirty nine available. That's two wins and two draws out of the last thirteen games but the return of one or two bodies plus the capture of Mathieu Debuchy, it should see us at least give a better account of ourselves and start to work our way out of trouble.

More so, when/if we actually buy a decent striker.
