An interesting article has popped up in The Independent newspaper, written by Martin Hardy.
At first sight it looks like a good interview. On further exploration, this reflects the quality of the excellent PR guru at the club. Wendy Taylor is charm personified, has gorgeous eyes and could melt the most hardened journalist, even if not the old hacks on ToTT.
It is the sort of story that the club wants us to hear, that we are victims of our own success by qualifying for Europe early. There is an aura of honesty but a hint of wanting to fill the ground, sorry that should be a hint of hope that some of the huge transfer surplus might be spent, down to Mike's generosity, in the January window.
A less compliant journalist might have put one of those sentences differently; 'The players are still playing for a manager that most of them like.'
Are the players still playing? Most is more than half, what do the rest think of him and why?
It's a good job that ToTT don't write for the national media, from Ashley's perspective anyway.
