Toon Transfer Disappointment

He signs a midfielder!

Antoine Sibierski, the 32-year-old French midfielder, has signed on a one year deal. No fee has been made public.

Sibierski scored 11 goals in 92 appearances for Manchester City, but has not been part of Stuart Pearce's plans this season.

What are YOU'RE feelings about Newcastle's transfer dealings this summer? Because we would LOVE to know.

Strange choice of player. Unlikely to be a first team regular and like you say, you already have strength in depth in midfield.

If you want some advice on how to make the most of the transfer market in the future, perhaps you should as Gareth Southgate for advice!
