'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Babayaro Not As Lucky

I still don't know how the FA view this 'video evidence' lark, or where they stick the goalpoasts. After all, how come Alan Shearer gets away with an elbow on a player 'because the referee chose not to act', yet Nigerian defender Celestine Babayaro is banned for three games for a brawl with Everton's Australian midfielder Tim Cahill. The referee chose not to act in that case, too.

Both players were charged with the same offence on Wednesday and given until 1800 GMT to respond by the Football Association. Babayaro admitted the charge shortly afterwards.

So the three match ban comes into action.
