Roeder Doubts Or Freddy Pressure?

The player has gone public and said he wants to join Newcastle, and Roeder has seen more of the Dutch international than he probably has of Damien Duff ... yet the deal is still on ice.

But it's a bit worrying that the manager still cannot make up his mind if he is the player he wants.

Freddy Shepherd told Roeder he is sick of paying out inflated fees on players who don't cut the mustard at St James' Park, and obviously the new manager is making double sure.

You can't afford him and if he did say he wanted to be a toon, the only reason would be because no-one else has showed any interest, if Liverpool really wanted him do you really think that he would have said that he wanted to come to Newcastle? and IF Liverpool wanted him they would get him simple as that!
