No Bust Up At Toon

... there was a suggestion in some newspapers today that the Turkish midfielder had a bust up with Glenn Roeder when he was replaced by Charles N'Zogbia midway through the second half of the match.

Roeder: 'Emre had a slight knock and I was not prepared to take any chances with any of our senior players with the Barclays Premiership season so close.

'The tunnel was near the dugout and he had to get to the dressing room for ice.

'He was just using his experience because if he had come to the dugout first I would have told him to get to the dressing room and get some ice on his injury.'

i was waitin to see how long it would be to see this story pop up. he only went to the treatment room for some ice and now he and glen roeder are being acused of a bust up lol wot a load of **** these reporters are i dod't na how they get these jobs

The rags are used to having sensationalist stories about us, it must come something as a shock to them that there hasn't really been anything for a while. It was inevitable that this story would be crapped out by the hacks in charge of these papers. Maybe if they supported football more, we'd all get somewhere.
