'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Quote Of The Season (so far)

But the ex-Ipswich defender had another spell of disaster in the pre-season friendly with Villarreal on Saturday.

He lasted 45 minutes, but it was 45 minutes too much, as again he failed to inspire any faith in the Newcastle crowd as he failed to do the simple things right ... never mind look like an accomplished defender.

For too long we have heard the excuses, and had too many managers hoping to have him as the king-pin in the back-line. When the fans know only too well he will never be a Tony Adams or a John Terry.

But I had to laugh when when of the pundits described the player:

'When Titus Bramble is on the ball ... very pass is an adventure!'

its a shame because i think he could be fantastic. i'm not just being biased, honest. when he played with woody they were one of the best pairings in the prem. i'd rate bramble whether he be at tottenham, charlton, villa etc. he is just really unlucky and always gets punished for his mistake.
