Agent Stefano Guercini said he planned talks with Freddy Shepherd. Something Newcastle have been quick to rubbish.
Guercini: 'Newcastle are one of the clubs interested in Francesco. There are three other clubs along with Newcastle. I hope to talk with them all this weekend. We are hopeful something will be done.'
Roeder said today: 'The player is looking for a transfer and his agent is using the name of Newcastle United to create interest. He will NOT be coming to Newcastle'.

Its just agent talk to try and get at least one club interested in buying his player, the agents just pick a club who he knows is after a player that plays in the same position as his client, with all the gutter press speculation how much actually comes to anything???? unfortunately Tottenham and Newcastle seem to be easy prey to these arse wipes!!!!!!!!!!!
