Why Gravesen?

Although reports from Teeside claim Middlesbrough are leading the race for Gravesen, who is set to leave Spain within the month, the 30-year-old Danish international prefers a move to Tyneside.

He has already rejected a switch to Celtic and Everton, but Glenn Roeder has already added to his growing band of midfield players by signing Damien Duff.

Roeder is desperate to sign a striker, and there is only so much money he can splash around until he sells the likes of Boumsong and Luque.

Gravesen has an ego bigger than that of Bellamy or Laurent Robert.... getting in a punch up with Robinho?!? Premiership clubs would do best to keep well away.

what are you going on about? an ego! gravesen aint got an ego problem, he was only rucking that robinho because he put in a few heavy challenges in training!

he would be a great signing for u, u need some more experience in the midfeild area. his wages would be alot know
green giant 12
would be a great signing, always gives his all and is a real battler

yeah, i agree would be a good signing as he would release parker to allow him to play to his full ability and we don't really have another holding midfielder since we lost bowyer (who i really rate), butt and faye are *****e. but he gives away too many pointless fouls and does tend to be one of those players you hate cos he just stops the game by giving away fouls. but he would strengthen our midfield and defence and we desperately need that.
