Wotcha Geezers,

Well where do I start, first of all apologies for the length of time since my last blog but i have literally been working 24/7. Got back safely from my scouting mission in Afghanistan and while i seen a couple of decent players Derek was unable to get them over the line as he reckons the Taliban drive a really hard bargain. Had a bit of close call on our way back from the match in Tora Bora when our car was stopped at a Taliban checkpoint, we had a security guard with us (a store detective from sportsdirect i think) and he was getting a bit twitchy when lo and behold one of the geezers starts shouting my name and he whips off his tribal gear and you probably won't believe this but he had the full Newcarstle United kit on, shirt, shorts and socks, a couple of autographs and we were on our way safe and sound.

Would like to take the opportunity to thank all the lads for the positive comments of late, i knew the doubters would warm to me i am a likeable guy. Special thanks to Ollie for his lovely remarks i was really touched Ollie and if you PM me your address i wll send you a signed photo, god bless you.

Have been sooooo busy plotting our campaign and i have to admit with the start we have had i am seriously considering changing our targets for the season i think we could be a top 14 team if we get the rub of the green. Granted in some games we haven't played the flowing football i promised but we have ground out results and that is the sign of a good team. Was delighted with the performance at Villa we bossed the game and really deserved to win but what pleased me most was that the lads were listening to what i was saying. I think you would agree that Neon Leon looks a different player since i have been working with him and he has shown he is up for the battle.

Will be sending a strong team out against Forest because we should be aiming to do well in the cups, we have Ben Arfa coming back and i got another bonus today when i bumped into Abeidi at the training ground today, i had forgotten all about him so he will get some game time along with Marvelous Marvo. I was tempted to play the ABBA formation (Ameobi, Ba, Best and Ameobi) but i think Leon needs a bit of a rest, we don't want to risk him getting injured.

I am going to have to cut this short because i have workmen in my office putting up a couple of new mirrors and the drilling is going right through me. Needless to say your love and support is much appreciated and i will be working day and night to deliver the team that you wonderful fans deserve.
