Toon Fans ... Dig Deep

Joannou wants to pay tribute to the club's support during European games.
The book, The Grand Tour, covers all 107 matches of United's record in Euro competition from the Fairs Cup victory in 1969 to every game in the old Cup Winners Cup, UEFA Cup, InterToto and the Champions League.

Joannou: 'We wanted to get as many illustrations in the book as possible of the fans on tour. The Toon Army always bring a boisterous and humorous atmosphere abroad with them and I think the book represents that.

'The book captures all of the first 100 games and more and it shows that Newcastle are one of the top clubs when it comes to playing in Europe. Not many clubs can say they have played in Europe over 100 times.'

* The Grand Tour will be available from August 3 and will be priced at £20.
