Everton v Toon - History

Everton are one of the teams that Alan Shearer has reached double figures against for the Magpies. The other three being Spurs, Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers.

However, only two of those 10 goals against the Toffees have come at Goodison Park, and the GOALden Boy will not forget the horror injury he suffered playing for the Toon against Chelsea in a pre-season friendly in 1997 at Everton's ground. He didn't return to action for seven months, and it was an injury that threatened his career at that time.
