Ben Arfa signs on the dotted line

Alan Pardew has made Hatem Ben Arfa his first Newcastle United, with the former Olympique de Marseille man signing this morning. Confirmed on the official website, he has secured a four and a half year deal

Good news for Newcastle fans who had taken the talented Frenchman to their hearts despite only brief appearances in a black and white shirt.

Great news, I think he'll prove a fantastic signing for you guys,, anyone know how much he cost?

Apparently somewhere in the region of £5m is being mooted. Not bad for the sort of player he is. But actually not a bad return for OM, who wanted him off the books, particularly with his bad injury.

Then, as a Yid, may I convey emotions of pure jealousy and bitterness at your good fortune and smart business!! Think he'll be worth a hell of lot more than that as soon as his injury has healed. Plus, he's such an exciting, attacking player, a real joy to watch! Now, while we're all feeling friendly,, can we please have Carroll???
