FIFA Good News For Emre

Toon midfielder Emre heard some good news from FIFA this weekend that will boast his international hopes with Turkey. His ban from international football has been cut from six competitive games to four.

He was heavily involved in the ugly scenes when players fought during and after the Switzerland match in Istanbul last November. The game sent the Swiss through to the World Cup finals in Germany, and knocked out the Turks.

Emre appealed and FIFA announced his suspension is cut by a third.
