Toon Face Wigan In Opener

Newcastle begin their Premiership campaign with a home game against Wigan Athletic on August 19, then we travel to Anfield the following Wednesday (Aug 22) to face Liverpool.

Christmas sees the Toon Army on its travels with a Boxing Day fixture at Bolton.

But we can't complain this season, as we have a home game with Manchester United on New Year Day. Which is far better than the New Years Eve travel to London last season when we played Spurs. The match Michael Owen broke his foot.

We play Watford away on the final game of the season.

(Sadly, due to the FA laws, we cannot publish all the fixtures).

Damn F.A.laws. Isn't it the way these days though. Anywhere in football these days, it's money before fans. Not an easy opener for you either.
