Seems Souness might have started winning the fans over. We asked 'Will Souness Survive Until Christmas?'in our latest poll. For two weeks the answer seemed to be a resounding no, or he should be gone already. However, the early and emphatic 'Souness out' sentiment has now completely swung around. 82% now say that he will survive until Christmas, only 6% that he won't and 12% standing by their guns that the Newcastle boss should be gone already.
I guess like all things, it takes time to bed in and start to bring about the results that are required. Newcastle had managed two wins in a row before the 3-0 demolition at the hands of Chelsea at the weekend. Only time will tell, but it seems obvious that the manager will get until at least Christmas to prove his worth.
In our new poll we are asking whether - following reports that Kevin Phillips wants James Milner at Villa on a permanent basis - you think Newcastle should sell him. Two nice simple options this time, yes or no!
