Villa Told - 'Put Up Or Shut Up!'
Glenn Roeder has confirmed James Milner will leave the club this summer ... provided someone coughs up the £3.5 million needed to secure the services of the speedy winger.
The player has never said outright he wants to leave Newcastle, but has insisted he wants first team football, something Aston Villa are prepared to give him.
But Roeder is waiting to find out if Doug Ellis has the funds available to give to Aston Villa boss David O'Leary, who has Milner top of his wanted list.
The £3.5 million would free up funds for Roeder to use to persuade Fulham to sell midfielder Steed Malbranque, which according to the national newspapers today would be Roeder's first signing for the club.
