Bellamy For Toon?

Is there a chance of Craig Bellamy returning to St James' Park now that Graeme Souness has fled the roost? The pair HATED each other and the player went on loan to Celtic rather than make a move elsewhere by saying 'Souness will leave Newcastle before I do!'

Sadly that didn't happen. The majority of the fans would rather have kept Bellamy rather than Souness, but Fat Fred insisted the Scot was the man for the job ... and boy did he get THAT wrong.

And when Shepherd was asked about a bid for the Welshman, and after all Nobby Solano returned to the club after being told he had no future by a previous manager, the Fat One laughed it off. He refused to comment, but I think his smile said it all. Personally, I think Michael Owen and Bellamy together would frighten the life out of Premiership defenders. For pace alone, they would be electric.

However Bellamy, who was married in his home city of Cardiff last Saturday, has a clause in his Blackburn contract saying that he can move for £6m. But this is only applicable until the end of next month.
