Harper Future In Balance

But with Shay Given having committed his future to United until 2011, that 'future' looks to be warming the bench yet again this season.

Harper has started just two Premiership games in the last five seasons and, not even playing regularly for the Reserves, it goes without saying he is well short of match fitness and experience.

Harper admitted in December that if Given signed a new five-year contract, he would be forced to reassess his own future at the club, and many feel it would benefit both parties if he moved on. But ... what do YOU think? Please comment on our message board.

I should think that he definitely wants to play regularly now, so, if i were him, i think i'd definitely move on.
