2010/2011 - Bramble Breaks The 79
Titus Bramble, Ipswich U-21 star, NUFC catastrophe, and Wigan's 'Player of the Season'
And in fairness, he did OK at Wigan...I mentioned in a thread on our forum that the expectations of NUFC fans may have contributed to his lack of concentration and his list of errors and mistakes that seemed to hound his career at St James' Park, but, when he played alongside Woodgate he actually looked, competent...
But now, after speaking to Sunderland fans, I realise that he has automatically morphed into a 'cracking signing'
This cracking signing helped Wigan sustain their Premier League existence last season, and he really did do a fantastic job...didn't he?
No, he didn't, Wigan shipped 79 goals last season, only bettered by Burnley on 82 goals against, and they, erm, went down!
Bramble played 35 games last season third highest appearance by any of the Wigan squad, oh yes, he was outstanding, s e v e n t y n i n e goals, so Sunderland fan's must accept that he contributed to the second worst defence in the country last season and at 750k, (reported) he does represent value for money, not least for the likes of Rooney, Drogba and our very own Andy Carroll...haha
I look forward to seeing Youtube clips of the Bramble Files in Redn and White stripes, with a bit of luck, David James might flap at an erratic back pass and watch in agony as the ball flips passed him, but better still.
All the filth need now is Boumsong for a full compliment!

Wouldn't it be nice if Wigan and Newcastle did the double over Sunderland? Can't see the magpies or the latics in relegation trouble. Fingers crossed!

He aint an amazing signing but he is better than Ferdinand and Nosworthy and for £750k he can be as ***** as he wants like lol
