Gosling Deal Imminent

Sky Sports are reporting that the deal for Everton's Dan Gosling is about to go through, Everton having finally released the player...

Gosling became a free agent after a discrepancy in the contract talks allowed Gosling to take advantage of a loop hole in the rulings, a 'verbal' contract offer was tabled but the FA deemed this inappropriate and told Everton that all offers should be conducted via official club papers.

Everton had 14 days to appeal against the FA ruling, but Sky Sports are suggesting that Everton chiefs have opted not to pursue, Gosling was also quoted as 'demanding' first team football but given the strength of their current squad, Moyes was unable to guarantee this.

We look forward to official confirmation but as always, until it's announced, we sit and wait in hope...a cracking signing if this does come off by the way!

Yeah he's a great signing if it comes off, how do you feel about the Scousers signing Cole? Gutted or not arsed?

Great signing???? Compared to Jack Rodwekll how good is he? mmmmmmm. A Billy Smarts player for a Billy Smarts team. Enjoy your "SEASON" in the sun you bar-coded muppets.

Good riddance, I have to say I am mightily disappointed in Gosling. A verbal agreement holds nothing in this day and age. Gosling has gone from fans favourite after his derby goal on the way to Wembley to a real enemy of the club now, he's truly alienated himself from Everton. Good luck trying to hold down a regular place in Newcastle's centre midfield, if that's really why you left.
