Beckham: 'I'll Do A Gazza'

Who can forget when Geordie boy Gazza burst into tears? He won the hearts of the nation when he was booked for a tackle on German Berthold, and was set to miss the World Cup final.

Now David Beckham admits he will probably do the same if England win the World Cup in Germany.

England's skipper fears he will blub like Gazza if he has to lift the trophy in Berlin's Olympic Stadium on July 9.

Beckham: 'I'm quite an emotional person. I would cry, without a doubt.

'It has made many captains cry over many years of football and World Cups.

'Winning trophies is always emotional. Unfortunately for three years I haven't lifted one so it would be nice to change that this summer.'

I think we will win the world cup. The other teams are frightened of us. We will go all the way to Berlin and conquer whoever stands in our way.
