Beye wants Villa exit, may consider Toon return

Newcastle United's former Senegal International defender Habib Beye is ready to quit Aston Villa barely seven months into his tenure at the club.

A £2.5m move saw Beye jump ship after the Magpies'relegation to the Coca Cola Championship last summer, but his time at Aston Villa has been torrid, with only five appearances in the entire season.

Beye, a fan favourite in the North East will instigate a move in the summer, and it is understood that he enjoyed his time at Newcastle so much that a return to his former club has not been ruled out.

Beye rejected overtures from Sunderland last season, and also turned down a £1.5 move to the Stadium of Light in January.

i will not want him back. what does he treat nufc as?..a shelter?.just because he does not like the bad situation going on and handed in transfer request..he should be more like jonas, jose, colo, s taylor. be more committed.plus he is 32 now. i doubt he can compete with simpson, ryan and steven taylor at RB.

Beye is NOT a fan favourite on Tyneside - not according to NUFC blogs, NUFC fan forums, North East regional radio programs and newspapers (my mates, my family and me). He had his chance.
