Kilgallon favours Toon move
Sheffield United defender Matthew Kilgallon is set to snub overtures from Mick McCarthy's Wolverhampton Wanderers to pave a move to Newcastle United.
The 25-year-old contract rebel is unsure of the prospects of Wolves staying up in the Premiership, and as such is reluctant. On the otherhand, Kilgallon views Championship high-flyers Newcastle United as the springboard to put his career on the map.
A fee of £2 million is being touted, although, if more buyers surface, the fee could rise significantly.
