Coach Chris talks Spiderman
Following his first goal for the club and the subsequent non-appearance of the long awaited Spiderman mask, Jonas Gutierrez was given a blessing by his boss to visit Madrid and link up with Diego Maradona's squad. Our winger won't be taking part in the games coming up for the national side following his Peterborough injury but wants to stay in touch.
Meanwhile, Chris Hughton had the following to say about the lad:
"With Gutierrez, you have to look at his all-round game. When he came here he never had a great record of scoring goals, so it`s not something we particularly expected.
What we did expect was a player who can run with the ball, take on players and assist, and a player that can lift the crowd.
That`s what we got from him on Saturday in time he was on the pitch. Hopefully we can see more of that from him now."
