So the FCB and Dirty Dekka have gone and done it. With the club now playing at the Cheapcharvatat.com@StJamesPark Stadium - what a f*ckin mouthful - the turnaround is now complete. Far from being on the defensive like he was last September, Mike Ashley and the Cockney Mafia are well and truly on the attack.

From a summer of failing to appoint Al, Hughton`s subsequent appointment, Keegan-gate`s revelations and now pimping out our club as some sort of advert for the Tacky Warehouse, Ashley is laying down an offensive against the fans who berate him every game. Ultimately he`s in the position of power. Come January he`ll probably sell some or all of the club`s remaining fine china in Nolan, Enrique, Krul, Smith and Carroll, leaving us with a squad that remains incapable of promotion.

Whether he`ll write off the club in the same way as his HBOS losses remains to be seen but all in all I think amongst all the gusto from our fans there is a genuine element of fear. Fear that this FCB can pretty much do what he wants whilst he owns the title deeds to his own monopoly property. Come January we`ll see the true intentions. Until then we must wait.
