Newcastle Rumour Mill!

Newcastle Rumour Mill!

Sunday reports suggest that Souness will have to look elsewhere for a forward as the high price tag for Deportivo La Coruna star Aldo Dusher could prove too high.

Souness said: 'I would like to sign Duscher, but not at whatever cost. We won't mortgage the club for him. We are very, very interested - I consider myself a fan of his game - but I believe that very high numbers are being talked about.'

Reports have differed from the £20million mark to the ridiculous £60million price tag which, according to one article is the sum quoted in his contract as the amount that would trigger a release clause. Yes, and of course, the press all get to look at these contracts don't they?! Not!

Another link to the Toon is Turkish international and Fenebahce striker Tuncay Sanli. However Fenebahce boss Aziz Yildirim has cooled the talk saying 'It is not on the board's agenda to sell Tuncay. He will have many more important roles to play that will add to his success at our side and the national team.'

And as we approach the transfer window, the gossip seems to be increasing as we've been linked to £2million rated Anderlecht winger Christian Wilhelmsson. The 25 year old is attracting interest from a host of Premiership clubs. His favoured spot is on the right, but he can also play on the left wing.
