Lucky Luque Better Than Gunner
The Sunday Sun have quotes from Souness saying that our very own Albert Luque is better than Gunner hot shot Jose Antonio Reyes.
Luque has been mostly on the treatment table since his arrival at St James Park due to a torn hamstring. However, he is looking to put his injury behind him and make his 3rd start of the season next Saturday against Chelsea.
Souness said: 'He is regarded in Spain as being in front of Reyes. They pick Luque for Spain before Reyes, who I see as a top, top player. Our fans haven't really seen Albert, but he's a pacy, talented player who can play wide on the left or as a striker or as any one of three strikers.'
Adding: 'I think he's come here with a determination to be successful, and that will see him through this injury.'
