Great Dane still Lov-in it here

Great Dane still Lov-in it here

Having had a quiet start in his first few games since returning to Newcastle, Peter Lovenkrands has come out and given one of his many updates on how he is finding life on Tyneside. With us sitting pretty at the top of the league, it seems everything is just bubbly at present. Lovenkrands said:

'We're playing well, we're clear at the top of the league and the boys are happy, we'll look forward. I've had a problem trying to get my fitness back, it's been hard coming in and I've not had much training as the other boys with pre-season.

Plus it's been hard to do well in training because we've played so many games, but it's looking good now. I've been doing well in training and it showed as I felt really good, and playing with Andy Carroll and Marlon Harewood is really good because they're two good players.'
